“Clark supports a positive economic environment for women workers and business owners, American job creation, fair pay, a fair minimum-wage, family-friendly workplaces, access to affordable/quality healthcare and birth control, policies that support a vibrant middle class and access to capital and federal contracts for women-owned firms,” continues Dorfman.

“Katherine Clark is committed to good jobs, excellent schools for our kids, gun safety, and keeping our promises to our seniors and veterans,” adds Dorfman. “She is a co-sponsor of HR 377 Paycheck Fairness Act, HR 1010 Fair Minimum Wage Act, HR 5051 Protect Women’s Health from Corporate Interference Act of 2014 and HR 1851 Family Act of 2013.”

“Growing the number of strong women leaders in Congress is critical to assuring that women’s economic priorities are advanced,” adds Dorfman. “American prosperity is directly linked to the economic success of women. Seventy percent of women work and seventy-two percent of mothers work. A record forty percent of all households with children under eighteen include mothers who are either the sole or primary source of income for their family. Women own nearly 200,000 Massachusetts businesses employing over 175,000 workers,” continues Dorfman.

“Katherine Clark consistently works in Washington on important issues that directly support strong Massachusetts family and business economics. We are proud to endorse her candidacy.”
